Longo’s gives JBH Foundation $1 million reasons to celebrate
The Longo family has been a long- time supporter
of Joseph Brant Hospital. Several members of the
family were born at our Hospital, and Teresa Longo
continues to make annual visits to the hospital
during the holiday season, bringing gifts and joy to
those who are unable to be with their families.
In January, the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation
had $1 Million reasons to celebrate as Longo’s
celebrated their 60th anniversary of the success
of the Longo`s Family Charitable Foundation
Community Matching Gift Challenge. Originally
launched in September, Longo’s matched
dollar-for-dollar all gifts made to the Our New Era
Campaign before December 31, 2015, up
to $500,000.

“Our family has been long-time supporters of the
Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation from the early
days when JBH was a small, community-based
hospital and we were just a small fruit stand on
Plains Road,” said Rosanne Longo, Chair of the
Longo’s Family Charitable Foundation. “We are
so pleased that the community responded to our
matching gift challenge in such a positive way.
