Introduction to Facial Rehabilitation 2025 28 February l 1.30-5pm ( half-day online ) 1 March l 8.30am-1.30pm ( face-to-face )
This one-and-a-half-day course will focus on facial rehabilitation for people with facial palsy following damage to the cortico-bulbar pathway , the facial nucleus and / or the facial nerve and its branches , reviewing aspects of neurophysiology and anatomy , treatment interventions and outcome measurement . Applicants can either attend the virtual only day or the virtual and practical days .

Introduction to the role and function of the occupational therapy expert witness
21 February 2025 – Friday Time : 12 – 1.30pm ( 1.5 hours in duration ). Venue : Virtual . Cost : Free . Occupational therapists play a fundamental role in clinical negligence and personal injury litigation cases by providing expert opinion to assist the courts in reaching decisions .
This online course , run by experienced Somek OT expert witnesses , will provide information on the OT expert witness role ( from preparing reports to giving evidence in court ), the legal framework , rules and principles that govern practice .
