Chapter 5 , Knowing the system and Chapter 6 , Knowing what ’ s hot , give a general overview of medical regulation , the structures of the NHS , the current challenges and the general direction being taken . Relaying raw facts to your interviewers will do little to impress your interviewers or help them to understand who you are . Being able to demonstrate how you have effectively interacted with the system is of far greater value . These two chapters therefore represent a significantly reduced proportion of this interview guide when compared to previous versions .
