WOMAN'S DAY

We all celebrated the Woman’s day in Turkey. Is it really a day which should be celebrated? Why don’t we celebrate man’s day? Why do we need to celebrate it?
In Turkey, lots of women are being killed by their husbands,fathers and brothers. The women who are graduated from a university is exposed to violence at least once in their lifespan. Celebrating a woman’s day , does it prevent the death of women? In my opinion,children learn from what their parents do. Because what goes around ,comes around. So first of all mothers and fathers must be educated. We should raise awareness.
I hope,one day we won’t need to celebrate the Woman’s day. Because everybody will be equal in every aspect of life.
