Green tea is the oldest secies of tea and according to many people- the healthiest. It comes from China. We don’t know who brewed green tea the first time. One legend says that Chinese emperor was lying next to a tea bush when a few leaves fell into his bowl of hot water. The man was delighted to flavor of the infusion.
Health properties of green tea
-green tea inhibits the aging process,
-contains flavonoids that reduce the risk of many cancers,
-lowers the level of bad cholesterol,
-contains fluoride, which strengthens bones,
-cleans the body of toxins,
-helps to relax,
-removes fatigue and improves concentration,
-contains many vitamins and minerals.
How to brew green tea
1. Into the cup with tea leaves pour the water with a temperature of 50 – 80 degrees Celsius.
2. Leave covered for three minutes.
3. Green tea can be brewed up to three times. Tea with the second brew reaches its fullness of flavor.
4. The best is to brew in in earthen dishes.
