Carrier China Wins Contract To Provide
HVAC Solutions For East
Group’s Data Centers
Carrier China recently won a contract to
provide state-of-the-art HVAC solutions
to two data centers. As a leading smart
energy system solutions supplier in China,
East Group Co. Ltd. was looking for a
company known for its energy-efficient
solutions to help establish their world-class
data centers. Carrier China was selected
for its customer-centric approach and
environmental stewardship. Carrier China
operates as Carrier Air Conditioning Sales &
Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a part of UTC
Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United
Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX). chillers offer outstanding energy-efficiency
at full-load and can swiftly restart in case
of unexpected power failure - essential for
data centers where downtime can negatively
impact operations.
Carrier China will supply 32 AquaEdge®
19XR variable frequency centrifugal chillers,
including 12 chillers with a cooling capacity
of 1000RT and 20 chillers with a cooling
capacity of 800RT, to the Guangming Haina
data center and the G16 data center. These The Guangming Haina data center and
the G16 data center are expected to
be completed in 2018 in Shenzhen and
Guangzhou respectively. Upon completion,
the two data centers will serve well-known
information technology companies in China.
