Alex Molinaroli is chairman and chief executive officer of
Johnson Controls.
He joined the company in 1983 and prior to his current
position, he served as president of the Power Solutions
business, a role he held from 2007-2013. Molinaroli was
elected a corporate officer in 2004 and held positions of
increasing levels of responsibility in a wide range of areas
within the Building Efficiency business.
Molinaroli earned a Bachelor of Science in computer
and electrical engineering from the University of South
Carolina and a Master of Business Administration from
the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern
University.
He serves on the board of Interstate Batteries and is a
founding member of the Electrification Coalition.
