Frequently Asked Questions FAQ 1. How do sororiNes decide who to invite back for each round? a. Recruitment is a mutual selec*on process. The sorori*es are ranking you, just as you are ranking them as well. Each chapter will choose their PNMs based on who they believe upholds their values in which they were founded upon. 2. Does everyone get a bid? a. Unfortunately, not every young woman who goes through the Recruitment process will be offered a bid. However, if she goes through all her rounds, is invited back to Sunday rounds and preferences all of her op*ons, she will likely receive a bid. 3. What happens with her registraNon fee? a. A PNM’s registra*on fee covers mul*ple areas, including Recruitment itself. Through the $25 fee, you are helping Recruitment and everything that goes on in the background, possible. 4. What if I have to miss a round or am late to a round? a. Do not panic!! We want to work with you to make sure that your Recruitment experience is the best it can possibly be. If you will be late, or have a conflict of any sort, please direct your concern to your Recruitment Counselor or to any of the members of the Panhellenic Execu*ve Board and we will direct you to a solu*on to your conflict. We will always help you along the way!! 5. What if a PNM is not interested in returning to a chapter who has asked her back? a. Please discuss this with your Recruitment Counselor. They will encourage you to aWend all rounds even if you really do not want to go inside. You never know which moments during Recruitment and which women you meet, will change your life. 6. What the sorority I receive a bid from ends up being the wrong one for me? a. The New Member process is meant to give you the chance to learn about your sorority and also to learn about the women in your sorority. It is also meant to make sure that you are ready for a life-long commitment. You have the right to no longer con*nue at any point, however, we encourage that all give their sorority a chance. First impressions are almost never correct. 7. What do I do if I get nervous? a. Relax, breathe, walk in those doors, and be your best possible self! They will love you for it! 27
