JOB DESCRIPTION The main task of a water meter reader is to document the water resource of commercial or residential properties in a given area of a municipality. Each structure served by a municipal water supply contains a meter, typically on the outdoor face of the building or in the water supply piping leading to the private plumbing for the building.
