GENERAL SECTION (Rupp Arena) (Rupp Arena) Full-Time Security Officer HVAC Technician Will perform evening/nightly preventive maintenance service checks i.e. (PM Program), monitor building boiler-chiller/HVAC systems and operating conditions; oversee operation of the HVAC system during Arena, Opera House, Exhibit Hall and other building events; and operate the building’s Energy Management System (EMS). Additional duties will include assisting with belt and filter replacement on large air handling units, walking and inspecting the building complex to check for pipe leaks, monitor fuel tank levels; and to determine if there are maintenance/safety issues that should be reported. Other building and maintenance duties will include plumbing/pipe installation/repair and completing various building repairs requested through the Engineering Department’s work order process. Parking (Part-Time) Security / Risk Management T he Security Officer-Parking will have primary responsibility for High School Diploma with Vocational School Certification or training, plus two (2) or more years of general Boiler-Chiller monitoring and operating experience. Should have basic hand tool equipment skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems. Basic computers skills a plus.
