social media A digital office As the world moves more and more online, we have some exciting changes planned for next year. Just before Christmas you’ll see another building appear by Despatch and this will be to house our in-house Online and Digital team. This office will be run from the offset by Richard Earnshaw, who’s returning to the company after his stint at Rentokil, and Jen Penaluna who’s been running our ebay sales full time since graduating in the summer. The aim of this department will be to help run the website, build our online presence, push forward our ecommerce sales, collect and collate digital images of all aspects of the company and help the retail side of the business with their point of sale and sales aides. We see this as an exciting opportunity and I’m sure you’ll all see them working hard in the New Year, helping raise the profile of the business. Feel free to pop into the office in January to say hello – they’ll be happy to see you. - Daniel A social newsletter We’re going to start sharing some of our social media posts with the newsletter. Here’s a taster of what’s to come: Spud and Mash made their Facebook debut as Earnshaws mascotts. Here they are having a meeting in Steven’s office; it’s a dog-eatdog world out there! Keep an eye out for more #SpudAndMash photos on Facebook. We will be starting to post from our Instagram account soon so watch out for that. Our Instagram aim is to show off Earnshaws behind the scenes and celebrate the great work we all do, so expect me to come and take some photos of you working - I’ll get your best side, promise! - Jen follow us!
