PATROLS is the pro-active participation of students through
(comissions).
There are several types of Patrols:
-The “play” Patrol takes care of students who have a problem at
the playground and helps students who have difficulties when
playing
or
interacting
with
their
friends.
Maybe
we
will
implement this PATROL at Institut Antoni de Martí i Franquès.
I would like to point out that getting to know the LEAPS
project was probably the most striking fact about my stay at
Sønderskov-skolen.
We told the Danish colleagues how lucky they were to have
direct support from California, the Kata Foundation, students on
internship and teachers from High Tech High.
A lot of public and private money is invested in Danish
students´education in order to accomplish the objectives of
education for the 21st century and to achieve deeper learning.
The training session with the 2 teachers from High-Tech
high and the report from the 2 students who had been helping
to implement the LEAPS project at Sønderskov-skolen had a big
impact on me.
