What impressed me most in Denmark?
The two things that impressed me most in Denmark were
the Danish friendliness and the amount of money invested in
education.
I had never been to Denmark before and therefore I did not
know exactly what to expect.
I was very surprised to see that everybody at the school could
speak
English
perfectly.
On
the
other
hand
our
Danish
colleagues were so friendly and welcomed us so warmly that it
was had to believe that we were so far away from home.
Danish people are the happiest in the world according to
international
surveys.
Many
factors
contribute
to
this
percerption of happiness.
In my opinion Denmark is a very safe country and this fact
is a key factor when talking about well-being.
We tried to find out what exactly the Danish word Hygge
means. It is not just like the German Gemütlichkeit, it has to do
with being together, being a part of a group and doing things for
the community.
We could enjoy some Hygge moments at the school!
