They should be C1 students. After the exposition, the teacher (who is French) asks comprehension questions. During the lecture (agricultural regions of France), he asks the students and constantly engages with them. The whole class is conducted in French. He does help them with difficult vocabulary by writing or explaining it in French. Students are actively taking notes as the teacher says they are not ready for University and note taking is essential for handing college. --- 9:45 meeting with the civics teacher. She teaches fifth year Civics in Slovak. There are only two lectures per week and they teach Philosophy. In fourth year, there’s only one lecture per week and they deal with Sociology, Psychology, Law and Economy. The subject doesn’t exist in previous years, and you have to take it as an optional subject for fourth and fifth. Although all students can take optional subjects, only 17 out of 90 do. In 3rd year, they can opt to do Entrepreneurship (1h/week)
