How to appear confident prior to your
interview
It is important you are mentally prepared for your interview.
You have done all the preparation required for this interview, and now you need
to perform to the best of your ability to get the job.
Think of your interview as a conversation between a group of people, sitting
around a table, asking you a few questions. Adopting this approach will take
your mind off this ‘testing interview’ and will help you relax a little better.
Your heart will naturally be racing and there will be butterflies in your stomach,
but believe it or not, this is all positive energy for your interview.
At this point your adrenaline will be rushing around your body and your brain
will be in gear. You will have lots of thoughts running around your head and you
will have doubts/fears about forgetting everything or ‘freezing’ in your interview
– but trust yourself! You will survive!
Even if you aren’t successful, think of this as a rehearsal for a future interview.
The whole experience will make you a stronger candidate for the next time.
