Our Newest Show: Victory Quest JM Ontario has a new co-production with Duo Percussion (Brennan Connolly and Dave Robilliard) and Jeunesses Musicales Canada (JMC) called Victory Quest. This delightful show for Young Audiences, takes Duo Percussion, Brennan Connolly (left) and Dave Robilliard (right) Brennan and Dave on an adventure full of sounds, instruments and mystery. Featuring many genres of music from pop to classical to video game, this show is entertaining for audiences of all ages. The show has been very well received and we look forward to sending it into communities across Ontario. We have already seen some great performances of Eternal Vienna by Montreal duo, Julie Hereish and Michel-Alexandre Broekaert. We are looking forward to seeing Tina Chong perform in the new year. You can catch Tina’s upcoming performances in Sudbury on February 14th, in Midland on February 23rd, and in Prescott on February 28th. Tina Chong This Year’s Opera: La Bohème Jeunesses Musicales Ontario’s 2013/2014 season brings Puccini’s La Bohème to stages across Ontario. Singers from Ontario also participate in JM Canada’s opera tours through Québec and the Maritimes. Check www.jmontario.ca to find the next performance in your area! We bring the full opera experience to communities across Ontario. What to Expect Next? In 2014-15 JMO will present Donzetti’s opera Don Pasquale. We recently held auditions in Toronto and Montreal and witnessed a great deal of Canadian talent. Although it has not been announced, we are particularly proud of it’s mostly Ontario cast. Not only will the opera tour through Ontario, it will also be presented in Québec and the Maritimes through our parent organization Jeunesses Musicales Canada.
