Seymour Johnson AFB Bird / Wildlife Aircraft Strike Hazard Plan
The Seymour Johnson AFB BASH Plan was last updated in 2017 and identifies
measures to help minimize bird hazards in the areas around Seymour
Johnson AFB and the Dare County Range, which because of the geography
and climate, is prone to bird aircraft strikes. The Plan is meant to address the
resident avian population as well as the migratory birds t
