Let us help you achieve your ambitions Charlotte Elstob is based out of New York and leads business development for cross-border Retail in the United States, working closely with JLL colleagues in the UK and across Europe and Asia Pacific. Charlotte’s primary role is to support retailers and brands with their transition to the U.S. market; identifying key challenges and working with retailers to develop an acquisition strategy supported with both local broker knowledge and in-depth research. Charlotte gives international retailers a “central point of contact” when they want to make their foray into the United States and coordinates projects with brokers in the local markets in key gateway cities in the United States. Charlotte was previously a Director in the JLL’s UK Retail and Leisure team in London, advising large institutional and international landlords in Central London and nationally including Unbail-Rodamco-Westfield, The Mercers’ Company, Network Rail, Land Securities and Intu Group. Charlotte has been responsible for providing strategic repositioning and leasing advice on major mixed-use projects totaling over 5 million square feet of retail and leisure space. These include Westfield Stratford (1.8 million square feet), the UK’s busiest shopping center and The Mercers’ Company Covent Garden Estate. Her strong relationships with international brands enabled her to deliver exciting new retail concepts to these locations.
