“ Do these jeans make me look skinny ?” “ Does my butt look big in these leggings ?” “ Why can ’ t I have bigger boobs ?” Common things girls say every day . “ Why don ’ t I look like her , why can ’ t I be that pretty ?” Again , everyday . “ Beauty ” standards , making girls hate themselves , their bodies , their appearance , they ’ re too high , they shouldn ’ t even be a thing . I look in the mirror everyday and think to myself , why can ’ t I look better , how come I don ’ t have the perfect body or face ? Girls get bullied everyday for they way they look , it makes them hate themselves , it leads them to try to “ fix ” them . They starve themselves , workout over the point of healthy . It can lead to excessive depression and some girls will even end it all , because of 1 comment . The saddest part is no one notices if you ’ re struggling , you hide it until its to late . Even if you didn ’ t hide it , no one would care , school talks about anti bullying but all they to is a small punishment if that , that ’ s not gonna stop them . No one stops bullying . Social media just makes it worse , comments online from strangers or your closest friends hurts more than getting it said to your face or behind your back . The insecurities don ’ t stop , they never stop , the rude comments , never stop . It never will , but one quick question . Do these jeans make me look skinny ?
