JFK Literary Magazine Club off to a Great Start!
I wanted to take a minute and celebrate the amount
of interest I’ve had in my literary magazine in just
the two short weeks the club has been in session!
We have some incredibly talented writers here at
JFK! I recently received binding materials to publish
the magazine, and as you can see by this photo,
our members are just as excited about it as I am!
These kids are already working incredibly hard to
make sure that our literary magazine is a special addition to the JFK community. I want to thank all
of the teachers who have helped get the word out about this project, as it is new to the school. I can
already tell it’s going to be a wonderful year with
an amazing group of writers.
Stay tuned for more information… we will be
opening up submissions for the magazine in the
coming weeks. We will also be asking for
teachers to submit their own writing for our
“Teacher Feature” section of the magazine
(these can be submitted anonymously!).
Additionally, we will be holding a cover art
contest once we decide on a name for the
magazine!
