FULL HOUSE FOR CHEV-CAJE LECTURE
WIZO Oaklands Branch recently re-launched its Ladies Day.
The day, in honour of Naomi Goldberg, who passed away four
years ago, was held at the home of Mushe and Issie Kirsch.
The speakers gave over fascinating talks and Shelley Geffen’s
delicious catering was another highlight of the event.
Almost 300 people attended the latest CAJE lecture of the Enrich Your
Life series – a partnership between Chev Social Services and Sydenham
Shul’s CAJE. Clinical psychologist, Dr Colinde Linde, offered fascinating
insights and practical suggestions on dealing with anxiety.

CHABAD OF FOURWAYS FATHERS DAY EVENT
The children of Chabad of Fourways Montessori School and
their fathers enjoyed a fantastic day at Adventure Golf.
The Israel Centre was honoured to host Gusti Yehoshua Braverman
– head of the WZO to run the Beit Ha’am Seminar. Workshop group
discussions took place between representatives from various Jewish
organisations and the Jewish community. The goals of the workshop
were to understand the importance of dialogue among diverse groups
of people and to understand that one can be critical of Israel while still
standing under the banner of Zionism.
