Each ring is custom made and tailored to the customers’ taste. Every aspect of the ‘One & Only’ ring is selected by the customer. By using online selection and preview technology, the customer can select the ring’s bridge, setting and band in their chosen combination of 14 or 18 carat white, yellow or rose gold. Each ring can be made even more distinctive by selecting the ‘signature’ setting and adding initials to the bridge of the ring. The selection process allows for up to 99 combinations from the six ring styles. With regards to engagement rings, diamonds on each style can be selected in a choice of round, oval and princess cut and 0.50, 0.70 or 1.00 carat. Engraving can also be placed on the base of the band. December 2017 | jewelleryfocus.co.uk CRIME Thieves use concrete block to steal £150k of jewellery in Watchfinder raid A group of thieves used a concrete block to smash their way into a Leeds Watchfinder store in a raid on Wednesday (8 November), making off with goods worth £150,000. Some 15 Rolex watches were also taken in the raid which happened at 6.45pm at the store in Victoria Quarter, Leeds. The store was open at the time and there were two members of staff inside. It is the second time in three months that the store has been broken into. According to the Yorkshire Post, there were three to five men involved in the raid and there are conflicting reports of whether they were carrying firearms or not. A spokesman for Watchfinder told the Yorkshire Post that “reports suggesting the men were armed cannot be verified.” The men escaped the scene in a blue Audi. A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “A large quantity of jewellery was stolen and an investigation is ongoing to identify the suspects.
