Independent jeweller Adorn Jewellers

Accessories Retailer of the Year’ award
at the 2018 Chesterfield Retail Awards.
The group also won the ‘Excellence
in Customer Service’ and ‘Independent
Retailer of the Year’ awards. The
business, which is based Chesterfield
town centre, was established in 2010 by
husband and wife team Laura Jo and
Adam Owen.
Specialists in silver jewellery, the
couple source the boutique’s range

larger family owned businesses. They
have also recently opened a second
store in Bakewell in the nearby Peak
District, called Acorn Jewellers
Laura Jo Owen said: “We are thrilled
with our hat trick of wins and so proud
to be part of the awards. Chesterfield
has an amazing retail scene and is
a hotbed of independent retailers
which we’re privileged to be part of.
Since the business opened in 2010
we have been incredibly supported
by both the retail community and our
wonderful customers.”
Peter Swallow, chair of Destination
Chesterfield, added: “Congratulations
to the team at Adorn on their three
wins at this year’s Chesterfield Retail
Awards, the titles are all fully deserved
and I’m delighted we could reward their
hard work throughout the year.”

Based in London Mayfair, the new
office is also the company’s first
venture outside of France. The firm was
first launched in 2008 aiming to provide
high end custom luxury jewellery
inspired by French artistry.
Jaubalet Paris is known to craft a
unique 3D wax replica wing for each
customer to try and sample in their own
time, ensuring that they are perfectly
happy with every detail of the piece
before the final product is crafted.
After the success and popularity of
Jaubalet Paris’ flagship office in Paris’
emblematic jewellery location, Place
Vendôme, Jaubalet Paris is taking its
next step abroad in London.
The opening of the company’s first
UK appointment-exclusive office is said
to come after seeing a rise in interest
from British customers in its products.
The office is located on Berkley Street
within London Mayfair and aims to
replicate the Parisian feel found in the
jewellers French store.
CEO and Director of Jaubalet Paris,
Patrick Barueul said: “We’re so pleased
and excited to be bringing Jaubalet
Paris to the shores of the UK. We
started off as an exclusively Parisian
brand and have since grown and
flourished into overseas ventures and
we couldn’t be more thrilled.
“From Paris to London, we’re hoping
to incorporate and bring the best of
both worlds into our luxury jewellery
craftsmanship.”
