Dog friendly islands

If a holiday for you isn’ t complete without your four-legged friend, you’ ll be delighted to know that many of our featured properties are dog friendly. Please ask for details.

Accessible travel

Premier Holidays provide practical accessibility support for those travellers with limited mobility to ensure that all aspects of the journey and holiday run smoothly. Working closely with our air and sea travel partners, our dedicated team of Travel Experts can arrange airport or port assistance as required, eg wheelchair support and / or help with boarding and disembarkation. Arrival and departure transfers or onward transportation can also be organised on selected islands.

Our experienced Travel Experts can recommend featured properties which may provide wheelchair-accessible rooms, grab rails in the bathroom, step-free access throughout the property or accessible pools. Popular options include the Radisson Blu Waterfront or Maison des Landes in Jersey, and the Comis Hotel & Golf Resort or The Mannin in the Isle of Man. Subject to your individual requirements, additional properties are available across our featured islands, so get in touch for our recommendations on how we can best assist you.

Resort transfers & local transport

Resort transfers are not included in our holidays. Pre-bookable return transfers are available in Jersey from £ 36( except in Jan-Feb and note some hotels are excluded), and in Guernsey from £ 31 per adult for a shared coach transfer. Children receive a 50 % reduction. Private taxi transfers are also available so please ask for prices. Please note that there is limited availability of taxis at airports and ports in Jersey and Guernsey. Should you choose not to pre-book transfers we cannot guarantee that a taxi will always be available upon arrival.

You can also pre-book transfers in the Isle of Man from £ 52( for a return taxi) and on Shetland from £ 110( for a return taxi).

Public transport in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man is excellent, and nearly all hotels have a bus stop within walking distance, particularly in Jersey and Guernsey.

Transfers are not available to pre-book on the other islands. However, taxis are readily available in Alderney. In Sark, Herm and the Isles of Scilly you can walk from the harbour to your hotel. For other Scottish Islands we recommend pre-booking a taxi. If travelling by air to Isles of Scilly, Skybus provide a mini bus transfer from £ 12 return( payable locally).

Solo travellers

If you’ re looking to visit one or more of our Islands alone, we’ re here to lend a hand. All of our featured islands are perfect for those seeking some well-deserved me-time and we’ ve negotiated some fantastic deals with our hotel partners. Many offer either dedicated single rooms and / or sole occupancy rooms( for those preferring more space), at little or NO supplement. Each individual hotel description has a Solo Traveller section detailing what’ s available at that property and if any supplement is applicable.

Within this brochure you’ ll also find a fantastic collection of independent tours, which are equally suited to those travelling solo. Each tour highlights a dedicated solo lead-in price, with some also including excursions or sightseeing passes to ensure you don’ t miss any of the top attractions.
