DAY 1 Fly to Edinburgh
On arrival make your own way to your hotel.
DAY 2 Edinburgh / Isle of Skye
Make your way to the bus station to meet your driver / guide and fellow travellers. Head northwest into the Scottish Highlands, stopping first at Loch Lubnaig for a wander. Drive on through Trossachs National Park to dramatic Glencoe, where steep mountains loom either side of the scenic valley. This afternoon, travel on to Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed in Scotland, then cross the Skye Bridge and drive on to your hotel.
DAY 3 Isle of Skye
The itinerary is flexible this morning, but your driver / guide will ensure you see many different parts of the island, including landscapes of unfathomable beauty. Options include Faerie Glen, where emerald mounds create otherworldly landscapes, or Quiraing, a backdrop that has featured in numerous on-screen productions. Enjoy free time in Portree before a tour and tasting at Talisker Distillery.
DAY 4 Isle of Skye / Edinburgh
Travel back over the Skye Bridge to Rogie Falls, a series of waterfalls surrounded by woodland walks. Travel on to Inverness which is home to many culinary gems showcasing Highlands flavours. Stop later in Pitlochry before crossing the Firth of Forth into Edinburgh. Here, the tour ends and you make your own way to your hotel.
DAY 5 Edinburgh
At leisure to explore as you wish. We recommend you don’ t miss the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and Palace of Holyroodhouse.
DAY 6 Edinburgh
Make your own way to the airport for your flight.

DAY 1 Fly to Glasgow
On arrival collect your hire car and drive to your hotel, a stunning coastal retreat on the water’ s edge in West Kilbride, with views across to the Isle of Arran.
DAY 2 West Kilbride
We recommend taking the picturesque Kirtonhall Glen walk, which follows the Kilbride Burn to Seamill Beach. From here, you can access the hamlet of Portencross with its roofless castle dating back to around 1360. West Kilbride is also a cultural hub, with several local artisan studios and galleries along Main Street. Back at the hotel, perhaps treat yourself to a bespoke treatment or immersive thermal experience at the amazing spa.
DAY 3 West Kilbride / Isle of Arran
Drive to Ardrossan for the 50 minute ferry journey across to Brodick on the Isle of Arran. On arrival, head to your beautiful hotel, boasting two unique restaurants, leisure clubs with pools and a spa.
DAY 4 Isle of Arran
There’ s so many different ways to explore the beauty of Arran, from wandering scenic trails on foot, cycling along coastal roads, or taking the classic route by car. Top sights include majestic Brodick Castle & Country Park, the towering peak of Goatfell, the ancient Machrie Moor Standing Stones, scenic Glenashdale Falls and the ruins of Lochranza Castle. Outdoor enthusiasts can hire a kayak, book a thrilling RIB tour, or tee off at one of seven stunning island golf courses. You can also sip and sample at two distilleries and a brewery, indulge in artisan foods plus browse a variety of local shops.

DAY 5 Isle of Arran / Irvine
Return by ferry from Brodick to Ardrossan and drive to your hotel in Irvine, which has golf courses, beaches, coastal walks and so much more on the doorstep. If time allows, you may wish to visit the awardwinning Scottish Maritime Museum.
DAY 6 Irvine / Glasgow
Return your car at Glasgow airport where your tour ends with your onward journey.
If you prefer to drive yourself, rather than have flights to / from Glasgow, a land-only tour price is available on request.
