I vowed to return to McCarthy one day and spend much more time preferably in the Fall, this time without any Scientologists.
It is much easier to get into town by airplane that leaves from Anchorage or another nearby town which is still about a 6 hour drive from Anchorage and 8 hours from Fairbanks. But I have never visited a nicer place so far but the photos that I took did not accurately capture the pure beauty of McCarthy.
