A business trip to Boston in October 2010 for one of my clients was great. Mimi and I were able to upgrade our status to business class on the Qantas A380 airplane on a long 14 hour segment of our trip from Sydney to Los Angeles. This was phenomenal. bored we went for a walk down the long cabin and into a lounge equipped with a large flat screen TV, magazines, just about any type of alcohol or soft drink and sandwiches. It made the trip so comfortable when we arrived in LA at around 10:00am, we were ready to see the sights. We overnighted in a nice hotel in the beach suburb of Santa Monica. I had arranged to see my old buddies, Don Parker, who was traveling through and Tom Bellamore who lived south of Los Angeles. It was amazing to catch up with them as it had been so very long. We went out for a fantastic Mexican dinner and reminisced over our Alaskan adventures.
