Singapore also can help others. Generally, disasters do not occur there, so they can afford to support other areas. The delegate of Singapore, Mr. Kohei Yamauchi of Kindai University, said, “Singapore provides military support such as food, shelters and financial assistance to others when disaster occurs.”
To sum up, hundreds of disasters occur around the world. Even during the conference, some countries had disasters like floods. To protect ourselves and others, we need to have knowledge about disasters. There is no clear answer for dealing with these problems, but disaster risk reduction is the key to preventing disasters in the future.
