I’d like to extend a very warm welcome to all of the students, faculty advisors and invited speakers of the third annual Japan English Model United Nations (JEMUN) conference. Kindai University is honored to host one of Asia’s most innovative MUN conferences.
At this year’s JEMUN conference, you will experience cooperative, hands-on learning as you confront contemporary international issues in English from the perspectives of your assigned countries and journalism roles. Through these experiences, during preparation and at the conference, you will undoubtedly develop an appreciation of differing viewpoints, encounter the frustrations of negotiation, and realize the rewards of cooperation. These processes will give you a broader view of the human side of international relations and diplomacy.
