For JEMUN 2019 , most of the delegates, journalists and advisors stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Uehonnmachi, Osaka. The Sheraton is a big, famous hotel, so many tourists stay there.
The lobby looks neat and beautiful with its modern Japanese decor. The lobby is open for 24 hours, so the guests can ask for help whenever they want. There are rooms for one, two, or three people, and most rooms have white fluffy beds, a couch, a table, and air conditioning, so that the guests feel comfortable especially during the summer time. In the bathroom, the guests will find commodities such as shampoo, toothbrushes, and soap. In addition, the guests can ask for any other necessities by phone, and the staff will bring them to the guest’s room.
When asking random participants how they felt about the conference accommodation, of the comments included:
“The rooms are nice and clean, there was everything I needed, like amenities.”
“It was good that they had bathrobes, but the shower water pressure was too weak.”
“The room was lovely, comfy and spacious. The smell of the shampoo was very good.”
“The room was comfy, but the bathroom was inconvenient. The bathtub and the toilet were in the same room, so I could not even go to the toilet when my roommate takes shower.”
