This 14th Century palace may be the oldest one in Venice being used as a hotel. With only 12 guest rooms, it faces onto a small canal about 5 minutes walk from St. Mark’ s Square. All furnishings are antique, and all lighting fixtures are from Murano. JDB clients are always given the largest rooms here. The palazzo itself is an excellent example of Gothic architecture with its mullioned windows and magnificent marble staircase, one of the first in Venice by the architect who later created the staircase in the Palazzo Ducale! Around the corner is the Luna Sentada restaurant featuring Venetian cuisine, offering the same high level service as Palazzo Priuli.
