Introduction to Paper Mosaic with acclaimed artist Sandhi Schimmel Gold
Enjoy a fun , interactive and creative evening with acclaimed artist , Sandhi Schimmel Gold who will demonstrate and facilitate a workshop using a paper mosaic technique . One of the pioneers of the Green Fine Art movement , Sandhi has been an avid upcycle artist ; utilizing materials that would otherwise go to waste . Using an unlikely combination of ancient techniques and modern upcycling , we ’ ll use a variety of junk mail , advertising , and packaging to create a palette of colors and textures . We ’ ll explore ways of utilizing paper to create something completely new ! Everyone will create a fresh , unique , eco-friendly piece of art !

Zentangles is the art of creating beautiful , complicated patterned pieces ‘ one stroke at a time .’ This 3-hour class will begin with a series of simple , repeatable patterns which , when all combined , can create a fabulous image . It ’ s a perfect class for Beginners because the patterns are not difficult yet can be combined to look amazing !
