Fitness

An extensive variety of group fitness and mind / body classes such as Cycling, Yoga, Zumba, and BodyPump are free with membership. For the monthly schedule and class descriptions, visit weinsteinjcc. org or pick up the monthly schedule at the Center.
Aimed at providing an improved health and wellness experience for all members, our Fitness Center is filled with a unique variety of people and purposes. With our state-of-the-art fitness and strength equipment, friendly personal trainers and an extensive array of group exercise and mind / body classes, our Fitness Center helps to motivate, inspire and keep members of all ages and fitness levels feeling their best.
Tai Chi
Instructor: P’ Nut Somboon Ages: 18 + 8-week session
This program is for anyone who wants to improve their physical, emotional, and spiritual balance. No experience necessary. Based on Yang Style Tai Chi and Qi Gong, this class is easy on your joints and has an emphasis on balance, agility, breathing and inner peacefulness. No equipment or special gear required— just comfortable clothes.

Women’ s Wellness
Instructor: Katie Brown Ages: 18 + 8-week session
Do you want to feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally? Set goals and reach them in this motivating class. You will see results! You will feel better! This 8-week session meets twice a week for high intensity workouts that are customized to each person’ s fitness ability. Fitness and body assessments will be performed at start and end of the session to show how much you have improved. Class will be livestreamed for those who would like to take these classes in the comfort of their own home.

Yoga for Parkinson’ s Gentle Flow Chair Yoga
Instructor: Kate Roberts Ages: 18 + 8-week session
Yoga for Parkinson’ s Gentle Flow Chair Yoga focuses on chair-based yoga sequences designed to encourage gentle mobility, breath control, strength, flexibility, and balance. Class includes both seated and standing postures using a chair for support. This class does not involve transitions to and from the floor.
