This class will include a variety of fun , engaging exercises to keep kids active . Led by John Christmas , a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor , kids will enjoy music while they learn and practice safe exercises and play fitness games .

Power for Kids & Teens
Instructor : John Christmas Ages : 10-14 8-week session
Power for Kids & Teens is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids and teenagers to help them develop a lifelong love of fitness . In a group setting , children and teens participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes . This class is perfect for learning effective exercise as well as conditioning to prepare for sports seasons .

Preschool Yoga
Instructor : Megan Vernon Ages : 3-5 6-week session
Join this fun class to learn the practice of yoga through games , stories , poses , and mindfulness exercises all taught in a fun peaceful environment .

Weinstein JCC preschool students are encouraged to participate . A Weinstein JCC employee will meet our preschoolers in preschool and walk them to and from the classes . A great way for half-day preschool parents to extend their day or for full day preschoolers to take advantage of these fun opportunities . Full day preschoolers will return to the preschool after classes and be dismissed with regular preschool pick up procedures .
