EnRich for Life and Food for Thought
The Weinstein JCC and Jewish Family Services have teamed up for our 7th season to create two innovative programs designed to provide older adults with a monthly activity that enlightens and engages . After the educational Food for Thought speaker series , adults can enjoy specially designed classes each month . Programs vary month-to-month and participants have the option to choose an “ active ” or “ creative ” track . Every few months , trips will be offered as well . Trips are free and transportation is provided , but RSVPs are a must . Free .
Mondays 11:15 am : Delicious kosher lunch provided 12:00-1:30 pm : Food for Thought program Alternating EnRich classes and trips begin at 1:30 pm

Special EnRich for Life Program : Intergenerational Passover Model Seder with RTA Students at the Weinstein JCC
Join us on for our 14th annual special Passover Model Seder . Participants will be celebrating by joining active adults and the 7th & 8th graders from Rudlin Torah Academy together in prayer , song and the traditional Seder meal . This program is open to all active adults who would like to participate . All faiths are welcome .

The 5400 Club
This group , consisting of retired and semiretired men and women ages 60 + meets each Monday throughout the year . Each meeting features an outstanding guest speaker . Membership in the 5400 Club is open to all male / female Weinstein JCC members .
This group is a self-governing organization with its own board , assisted by a Weinstein JCC staff advisor . Feel free to come as our guest and bring your friends !
Mondays 12:00 – 12:30 pm : Lunch ( Bring your own and join us , dessert provided .) 12:30 – 1:30 pm : Program
Cost : $ 30 per year plus 50 cents for each program attended .
Participation is open to all JCC members
Grand Tones
Performing arm of our Active Adult Programs
Preparations are always under way for performances at nursing homes , organizations , hospitals , churches , synagogues , and civic functions . The Grand Tones are now over 50 years running under the direction of volunteer music director Betsy Cockriel . If you love music but are not a singer , you are still welcome to join us just to listen , have lunch and socialize !
Tuesdays 11:00 am – 12:00 pm : Rehearsal time 12:00 – 12:30 pm : Lunch ( Bring your own and join us . Dessert provided .)
The Grand Group
This program meets every Tuesday year round and is for adult men and women . The weekly agenda features programs including entertainment , guest speakers , current events and intergenerational programs . GG members enjoy celebrating many of the holidays and events , including a Chanukah party with the Weinstein JCC Preschool children and a Sweetheart Day luncheon .
Tuesdays 12:00 pm : Join the Grand Tones for lunchtime . ( Bring your own and join us . Dessert , coffee & tea provided .) 12:30 – 1:30 pm : Varied weekly program and activities
Cost : $ 28 per year for JCC members Participation is open to all JCC Members
Wednesday Game Day ( NEW PROGRAM )
Join us one Wednesday a month for socializing and playing your favorite game . Whether you like to play mah jong , bridge , cards , rummy cube , scrabble or do puzzles , this group is for you . Bring your friends and we will provide the table , and games or bring your own ) Bring your lunch and we will provide the dessert , beverages , and fun !
1st Wednesday of each month : Begins on February 2nd 11:30 am – 1:30 pm Cost : Each Wednesday : M : $ 2 / NM : $ 5

Thursdays On The Move
This program will offer a fun-filled day trip once a month to area museums , restaurants , Sight-seeing , etc . Destination suggestions from participants are appreciated ! Transportation from the Weinstein JCC will be provided . Cost and length of trip will depend on destination .
Annual Weinstein JCC / Hadassah Game Day
Ages : 18 + Join us for an exciting fun-filled day of your favorite games . Just bring your friends , mahjong set , bridge cards or any other of your favorite games , and the Weinstein JCC will supply the rest . Tables open at 10:00 am , but you can begin playing any time after that . Cost includes morning and afternoon snacks , brunch , table rentals , door prizes and lots of socializing ! Please consider bringing nonperishable food items to donate to the Elmer Toth Community Food Pantry .

Sweetheart Day
One of our favorite active adult events of the year ! Facilitator : Shari Menlowe-Barck Ages : 60 + This is a special active adult luncheon that has been in place for 16 + years . Join us and help celebrate “ love ” through music and dancing , a delicious lunch and camaraderie with friends
