Stories & Strings : A Violins of Hope Chamber Music Concert
With support from Linda and Earl Ferguson , of blessed memory Sunday , September 26 at 3pm
Amnon Weinstein has spent the last two decades locating and restoring violins that were played by Jewish musicians during the Holocaust . The Weinstein JCC is proud to present Stories & Strings , a Violins of Hope chamber music concert where these violins will be played by members of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra . As the Violins of Hope are as much about the music as they are about the people , this program will focus on both , bringing the once-silenced voices and spirits to life . This is an in-person event .
Featuring Dr . James Grymes , Author of the book , Violins of Hope and Dr . Jocelyn Vorenberg , Richmond Symphony Orchestra .
