Ballet I
( class size limited to 11 ) Instructor : Nadya Mishutina Ages : 5 – 10
Ballet technique and terminology are introduced in this Weinstein JCC School of Dance beginner ’ s class . Students will begin to work at the barre and learn ballet positions and creative movement through music and stories . Leotard , tights and ballet slippers required for this year-round class . The Dance Recital will be in May 2022 . *$ 60 Recital fee not included and will be charged in late January .

Beginner Hip Hop
( class size limited to 11 ) Instructor : Richmond Urban Dance Ages : 3 – 5
This full-year class is designed for boys and girls to express creative movement and learn the basics of hip hop dance . Children will focus on basic technique and skills , as well as learning choreography . Each class is a fun way to listen and move to the beats of hip hop and classic children ’ s music . The Dance Recital will be held in May 2022 . *$ 60 Recital fee not included and will be charged in late January .

Hip Hop
( class size limited to 10 ) Instructor : Richmond Urban Dance Ages : 5 – 12
This class under the direction of Richmond Urban Dance is designed for students that want to learn the fundamentals of hip hop dance . It focuses on basic technique and skills , as well as learning choreography . Each class builds on the one prior . This class is for boys and girls . The Dance Recital will be held in May 2022 . *$ 60 Recital fee not included and will be charged in late January .

In a warm and inviting atmosphere , learn the steps involved with Israeli dancing , both traditional and modern . For those who love to dance and have some knowledge of Israeli Folk Dance , this class provides the opportunity to “ just dance ” and learn new dances as well , in a warm and inviting atmosphere .
