Justin Randall Timberlake was born on January 31, 1981 as the son of Lynn Harless and Randy Timberlake. Born a child of Memphis, Tennessee, with music in his blood from his father and grandfather who were involved in the church, Justin was a natural on the stage. He even sang in the Grand Ole Opry when he was just ten years old. He also made an appearance on the show star search, but failed to win. When he was 12, he joined the Mickey Mouse Club along with Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and future N'SYNC band mate JC Chasez. In 1995, the show was canceled, but that didn't stop Justin from finding stardom. After the show was over he joined an all boy band that a producer named Lou Pearlman was putting together. Along with Justin, the members of the group were Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, and JC Chasez. Justin's mother thought of their very original name N'SYNC by combining all the band member's last names. N'SYNC rose to fame as their music to appealed to teens all over the world. To the dismay of many of their fans the band eventually decided to take a break in 2002.
Around this time Justin decided to to try and launch a solo career with the release of his album Justified, which stripped Justin of his boy band look and made him look more mature. Justified was heavily influenced by R&B and was a major hit. The album sold almost half a million copies in just the first week! Leading up his album, in the summer of 2003 he began the Justified/Stripped tour with Christina Aguilera.
At the 2004 Grammys he won an award for Best Pop Vocal Album-Justified and was also nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his #1 single "Cry Me a River". Following the Grammys, Justin took a break from singing and decided to pursue acting. Throughout his career he has appeared in films such as the 'Alpha Dog', 'Black Snake Moan', and the 'The Social Network" in 2010 which the rolling Stones called "the movie of the year".
In addition to acting, Justin supports Shriners Hospitals for Children, him and his best friend Trace Ayala have their own clothing line called William Rast, and he also participates in humanitarian efforts in his home state of Tennessee.
After dating girls like Britney spears and Cameron Diaz, Justin is now married to Jessica Biel whom he married in October of 2012. Justin has also released his new album the 20/20 experience which features songs like 'Mirrors" and 'Suit & Tie', which we have all heard playing incessantly on the radio.
So far, Justin Timberlake seems to be the type of celebrity who never quite goes away. He easily can adapt apapt his music to be more modern and fans around around the world have eagerly awaited his new album, the 20/20 Experience, which came out in March 2013. It was and is still a hit, and after waiting six years, J.T. has finally made a long awaited comeback. The only question us fans have ourselves asking now is: when will his next album come out?
