Hello Grapevine friends,
The summer is coming to an end and everything
in our town is beginning to return to normal.
I have had the opportunity to speak with
many businesses and all agree that the 2015
summer season was the best in recent years.
Not only because many more tourists visited
Xàbia, but also the spending per tourist has
increased, which directly affects the economy
of Xàbia and job creation.
At the municipal level, the activity has not
stopped, in addition to the day to day work; we
have had a busy schedule of meetings with
other towns in
the Marina Alta to
reach important
agreements for
our town.
In
particular,
we
reached
a very interesting
agreement with
Pedreguer
to
bring
water
to Xàbia and
guarantee
our
supply for many
years to come.
