Cocktails at the PARADOR - XÁBIA
“DEMOCRATICA”
Supporters
attended a SOCIAL EVENT AT
THE Parador on Saturday January
31, organised by the Events
Committee headed by Kieth Hyde.
This informal event attracted 115
supporters and members,who all
enthusiastically exchanged ideas
and had the opportunity to talk to
Xabia Democratica Councillors.
Canapes and cocktails were
served while Councillors for Works
and Town Planning Pere Sapena,
and Juan Lu Cardona. Councillor
for Sports and Business gave
short presentations during which
they thanked the members for the
support shown during the past four
years since they embarked on this
new party.
Pere Sapena spoke also of the
increase in housing licences
granted since the beginning of
the term of the legislature for new
Units and home improvements.
Juan Luis Cardona, having
achieved extensive successes
in both the departments of
Sports, Economic development,
Agriculture and Fisheries, and
Trade, demonstrated this success
with figures showing improvement
in the evolution of the sectors.
Oscar Anton Deputy Mayor and
Head of Finance, who has led
Xabia Democratica party from the
start thanked the members for
their support and assistance over
the years.
Oscar spoke of the future for the
Party he emphasised that “We
have a duty to continue to work
together , united by a Xabia for the
future”, he further told the members
that ….
“We believe our party is a social
tool where the priority is to help
the citizen to find solutions to
their problems. We are, and we
are always willing to listen to your
ideas”, Emphasising that XD was
“not a party of the left or right of
politics. XD is THE PARTY for
Xabia and exists solely for the
benefit of Xabia!”
