Concert
At the beginning of December, the
Asociación de Profesionales y Amigos de la Música (APAM - who organise the Concurso Internacional de Piano “Villa de Xabia” every year), put
on a superb concert featuring young
talented local musicians (pictured
below & over the following pages).

& local Entrepreneur Monica Suarez
Penoucos organised the event in the
beautiful Jessica Bataille Studio.
Surrounded by interior design objet d’art the large centre stage was
encompassed on three sides by the
audience. Each mini-space creating
its own ambience much aided by the
excellent accoustics.
The concert began with very professional performance by Ana Marco on
piano.
Miriam Llerena was mesmerising
on several percussion instruments
closely followed by Carlos Mulet
who gave a passionate performance
showing how very different the same
Percussion instruments can sound
with different emphasis.
Rounding off the evening, Pascual
Safont delivered a polished piano
recital.
All in all an excellent event and it fully
justifies APAM’s belief in the importance of Music in Education. you can
