Restaurante BOHEMIANS ( a rather unnecessary name change - assuming people do not know of Puccini ’ s worldfamous opera ?!!) : At Jávea , Arenal beach front ( Parador end of the promenade ) : This restaurant is now regarded as the best of the French styled / owned restaurants on the Arenal beach front . Fine tapas , superb steaks . Menu del dia € 19.95 . Consistently excellent reports but comments say this is an expensive place ( revealed , perhaps , by the recent refurbishment ). Restaurante EL CAMPO : On the right side ( of the approaching left-handed “ Cansalades ” bend by Las Laderas on the Benitachell road after the Jávea Bowling Club ). We were pleased to report that the initial reactions to the new administration here which have been excellent . We hope that the initial reactions ( of quantity-to-price ) have now been settled . The restaurant has a delightful rural atmosphere and the beautiful outdoor area has been completely refurbished ( again !). Plenty of parking . We eagerly await comments , please . Restaurante MASENA ( Jávea ) : Go to the end of Cami Cabanes road ( behind La Caixa Bank ) and immediately left onto the Benitachell ( Golf Club ) road . A beautifully appointed ( Belgian-owned ) very high-class restaurant with great style . Menu-del-dia € 22.50 ( slightly more on Sundays ). Good meat a speciality , notably their Châteaubriand and steak cooked on hot stone . They are always busy .... so must book ! Excellent wine list and consequently not as cheap as it once was ... !
