Restaurante EL BARET DE MIQUEL : C / Historiador Palau 1 , Denia ( close to the Glorieta ). Recommended by French friends who insist that this is the best restaurant in Denia and that you have to book weeks ( or months ) in advance . We are not sure about that . Restaurante EL CHEESE : C / de la Mar 16 , Denia . A major discovery by one of our readers - and I quote : “ On Wednesday the menu is Cous-cous Royal .... beef , lamb & chicken in abundance .. with a glass of wine & a dessert ... Creme brulée in the French style , fantastic ! We liked it so much that we went back on Friday for the daily menu which included a casserole of guinea fowl ( pintada ), sauce of cêpes and roasted vegetables ...... so much , so good , so difficult to move afterwards ! Good , and not over priced , French wine . The menu is € 17 with a glass of wine or water which we believe is excellent value in a really nice setting , these young people deserve to do well .
