3rd. From the rest of the field,
JBC’s leading pairs were Ceferino
& Maria Jose, Rod & Maria, while
top pairs from the “Rest of Spain”
were Nacho & Aurora, Christian &
Nuria. The event was ably directed
by John Hiskey and Richard Kent,
and followed by a selection of
delicious tapas. Anne Palmer was
excellent (as always) in charge of
the catering with food provided
by Anne, Pat and other members
of the club. Jan, Lyn & Martin
looked after the bar.
Javea Bridge Club welcomes new
members and visitors to join in its
regular duplicate sessions at their
premises in Avenida de Paris,
Javea Park, Arenal de Javea. These
are held on Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday and Friday starting
time usually 3 pm, but with some
variations in August. A host
system operates on Wednesdays
and there is partner finding service
for the other days.

programme of beginner’s bridge
lessons started in mid-September.
