1. Do not use a citrus or acidic cleaner (like lemon or vinegar) to clean
marble surfaces as it will damage them. Use a sponge / soft cloth with a
diluted washing up liquid. To remove stains you will need Tin Oxide or
a similar polishing powder.
2. Get rid of marks on wood with a walnut? Cut it in half and rub it
into the scratch. Pecans, Brazil nuts and almonds are also OK. You
need to rub the area afterwards, with you fingers, to help the nut oil to
penetrate. Then to finish, just polish it up with a soft cloth.
3. Before you clean your oven or microwave, heat up a bowl or
cup of water in ut to boiling point and let the steam loosen any
dried spills or splashes
4. If you have brushed stainless steel items in your
home use kitchen paper and baby oil to get rid of
smudges and marks.
5. Use car polish wax on bathroom wall tiles to
protect from grime and give a deep sheen
finish.
