The NOSOTROS form is really a suggestion , rather than a command or instruction .

The following commonly used verbs are irregular in the ‘ tú ’ form . There are others , but these are those I thought most useful !
TÚ positive negative IR ve no vayas HACER haz no hagas PONER pon no pongas VENIR ven no vengas TENER ten no tengas SALIR sal no salgas DECIR di no digas OÍR oye no oigas SER sé no sepas positive negative IR vamos / vayamos no vayamos IRSE vámanos no nos vayamos
So when , in real life , would we use the Imperative ? Of course if you have children you could find yourself using it all the time !
¡ no hagas eso ! ¡ ven aquí ya ! ¡ coma las verduras y entonces te daré el helado !( don ’ t do that ! come here now ! eat the vegetables & then I ’ ll give you the ice-cream !)
