INSPIRATIONAL The Last Unfinished Story Ruth O’Reilly-Smith Last winter, I started knitting a bright red scarf for the homeless - it’s still lying in the cupboard, unfinished. That cupboard is full of unfinished work. Trousers and shirts with missing buttons, a hem that needs taking up, a T-shirt that needs mending, a teddy bear with one eye, another teddy with a leg that’s about to fall off and a hole that’s leaking stuffing, pretty much anything that needs fixing.
