I'm a Little Teapot!
Annie Kubler
…
Love the rhyme in this book.
The illustrations are very apt too.
You'll find very cute babies and
teapots throughout the book. What
is quite interesting is that the
patterns on the baby's clothes match
the patterns on the teapots that
feature on the same pages with
them.
Lovely rhyme… here we go...
Animal Babies
Emma Dodd and Emily Hawkins
This book features five animal babies
(the baby zebra, baby crocodile, baby
lion, baby elephant and baby giraffe)
that your child can touch and feel.
It's also a counting book, so it can be
used to reinforce your child's
knowledge of the numbers 1 to 5. A
gentle rhyming text eases the
transition from one animal scene to
the other and aids your child's
understanding of sounds and
language in the process.
“I'm a little teapot, short and stout.
I'm a little teapot, short and stout.
Here's my handle, here's my spout.
Here's my handle, here's my spout.
When I get all steamed up, hear me
shout...”
Your turn now!
Each brightly illustrated animal scene
covers two pages and the book ends
with a panorama of all the animals
featured in the book.
Educational and enjoyable!
