The King’s
Daughter
Glory Kings is an upcoming
award winning gospel artist.
We caught up with her
recently….
JP: Give us a brief snap shot of your childhood.
GK: I grew up with my Grandparents who looked after me
growing up and I must say part of what I learnt from them and
the discipline I received helped to shape the Glory Kings we see
today.
JP: Your background/career
GK: I am from a very humble background. I was brought up by
my loving grandparents who I lived with. They taught me a lot of
things. My grandmother used to take me to the farm with her. I
learnt how to fetch firewood for cooking and water from the
stream. I am a professional Nurse.
JP: How did you start singing?
GK: I started singing quite young in my home Church Choir
(Celebration Chapel) I have been in a choir since.
JP: What inspired you to start Glory Kings Music?
GK: Well, the inspiration behind starting a solo career in Music
wasn't actually planned. I would say it's divine. While I was still
in Nigeria, serving in the choir in my local church, there were a
couple of prophesies - God wanted me to be sing or him. I didn't
understand at the time that it meant as a gospel artist.
