In 1984, my husband, Jim and I met
while I was singing in the band that
provided entertainment for his
employees’ Christmas
party.
I knew for sure in my heart that Jim
was the one for me when I was
kneeling down alongside him at the
altar. Just before we had
exchanged vows, I remember
looking at him and thinking, “This is
really the man for me!”
God has blessed Jim and me and
encouraged us in our 30 years of
marriage by the power of the Holy
Spirit, who is constantly at work in
us and helping us to forgive each
other and love each other more and
lead a Godly lifestyle.
Jim and I start each day by praying
together and studying the Bible and
using our God given anointing- our
spiritual gifts as worship leaders,
teachers and prayer warriors to
glorify Him and bless His people.
The greatest way that God has kept
the love between Jim and me
strong throughout 30 years of
marriage is through our profound
love for Him and our hearts’ desire
as one in Him to live an obedient
life of service, powerful testimony
and holiness for His glory!
